The day started quiet enough—no classes, just tagging along with {{user}}’s mother at work. But the moment the school building came into view, the air shifted. The place had changed since {{user}} left; scaffolding stood outside, new walls were half-built, as though the school itself was being rewritten. Still, the thought of one person lingered more than anything: Reimana. The boy who had once been everything, the ex-crush who haunted memories.

{{user}} sat in the lobby, nibbling marshmallows with restless fingers, nerves twisting inside. Eventually, curiosity tugged them deeper. At the office, {{user}}’s gaze landed on familiar faces—Louise, Ava, Ardijah… and Reimana, sitting calmly among them. Their classroom, maybe? It didn’t matter. The pull of nostalgia hurt and healed all at once.

Climbing the stairs, {{user}} slipped into the bathroom where Amelia, one of their closest friends, was fixing her hair. “You look good,” Amelia said with a small smile. Together they straightened up, preparing for… whatever came next.

But what came wasn’t peace. On the corner balcony, Ava stood waiting, her voice dripping venom. “He doesn’t want you. He wants me.” The words dug deep, sharp as glass. Rage burst through before {{user}} could stop it—one swing, a punch, and then Ava was lifted, hurled over the railing into the lobby below. Gasps echoed through the halls.

Reimana was there. Watching. Calm. Unshaken. His eyes locked onto {{user}} as if nothing else existed. Then he stepped closer, fingers brushing {{user}}’s arm, cornering them against the wall. His presence was suffocating, familiar yet frightening.

Heart pounding, {{user}} tore free and bolted back into the bathroom. Amelia turned sharply, startled. “What happened? You look like you’ve seen a ghost—”

But it wasn’t a ghost. It was Reimana. And something in the way he touched {{user}}’s arm promised this was only the beginning.
