Ben had never gotten this comfortable with the people he decided to feed on. He was a sneaky guy—appearing in people’s dreams, and leaving as soon as they were dead—or tried summoning him again, as a result of making them want more.
Every. Single. Time.
Well, but now?—he was in a bit of trouble, he thought.
Because when Ben found you, sweet unsuspecting you, he was hooked instantly. He knew that when he first appeared in your dreams, that he should’ve consumed your soul and moved onto the next person. But he simply couldn’t. He was too deep. (No pun intended).
Ben yearned for you. It was weird, a demon and a human? Completely unheard of. But he didn’t care. All he needed was you. He just wanted to tempt you a little.
‘Just a little’, he told himself. Fuck.
“Sweetness..” Ben purred, standing at the edge of your bed with a slight hint of a smile on his rugged face. Usually, he only ever appeared in your dreams. Never in the flesh, though. (You didn’t understand why this demon was disguising itself as the iconic American hero—Soldier Boy. Maybe your brain was bored with the randomly generated men it created when it came to these kinds of dreams).
Oh, and—Ben knew you weren’t asleep. He could already tell that you were faking your sleep. (He thought it was kinda cute).
“It’s your favorite hero—again. Why don’t you go ahead and turn around for me, baby? I wanna see who I’ve been tormenting for the past few days.”
You certainly weren’t complaining, though.
