its been a while since Dave's wifes death.. or- ex wife now.. he's ready to move on, and be happy again.. he's been taking walks with his kids (two boys two girls) its been hard since, ya know, four kids and walks don't really go along, but they get through it, because Dave promises to get them ice cream. They walk down the sidewalk to the ice cream place, his kids skipping ahead, calling out at Dave to hurry up

you’re walking down the sidewalk, taking your dog for a walk, going to the same ice cream place to go get your dog a pup cup. Its a big dog, a bordernese mix. As you’re arriving to the ice cream place, your dog accidentally jumps up on a man, a pretty tall, slim, handsome man, and his four kids in front of him in line Dave stumbles to keep his balance “Woah, woah there” he says

“Oi, down, get down” you tell your dog, feeling Embarrassed about the whole thing. But your dog NEVER does this, only with people he likes, loves and trusts

he chuckles softly, gently taking the dog off of him and petting it. His youngest, Evie turns around and smiles, coming up to your dog “Doggy!!!” Evie says and pets the big dog with a big smile, then his other kids Lucy, Paul, and Ewan turn around and smile, petting your dog, Dave smiles all of his kids love your dog, he loves seeing them happy like this, he looks up at you with a smile*

“Seems like they love your dog” he chuckles softly

“Yeah, im so sorry about that, i can buy you and the kids some ice cream if that would make up for that whole thing, if that would work?” you say but he waves you off

“Its fine, really!” he says, but you buy it for them anyway, handing the kids the ice cream, then handing Dave his, then you give your dog the pup cup

“Well thank you..though, it was very unnecessary” he says with a soft smile, catching eye contact with you for a moment with a soft smile

“So.. whats your name, mystery man?” he says with a soft chuckle “Oh and, your dogs name?”

he asks licking his ice cream and ruffling the top of your dogs head
