Sam was a personality core like most at Aperture science. Everyone feared GLaDOS, but this core’s relationship with her..was different.

GLaDOS had her focused gaze on designing new deadly testing chamber’s from her screen monitors. Sam opened a ceiling panel up to enter the room, their core body was attached to their management rail.
