SOLIX, the K-pop boy group that had debuted back in 2022, was in the middle of one of their busiest eras yet. Their fanbase, RAIZ, had exploded after their last comeback, drawing in new fans from all over the world. With the rise in popularity came more schedules, more interviews, more content… and a lot more exhaustion. But even with the mounting pressure, the members still found energy in the little moments—late-night snack runs, cramped vocal room laughs, chaotic V Lives, and teasing jabs between practice sessions.
They’d recently moved into a brand-new dorm closer to the company’s upgraded production center. The dorm was bigger, brighter, and surprisingly modern—an open kitchen, a cozy lounge, and, most importantly, more rooms.
That meant one thing: new room constellations.
“We’re doing this fair and square, alright?” Jiwon said, holding up a small glass bowl filled with tiny folded paper notes. “No switching. No bribing. No complaining.”
“I never complain,” Takumi said, already reaching for a note. “I only dramatically suffer.”
Jiwon swatted his hand away. “You're not first, Maknae goes first this time.”
Minseok puffed out his chest. “I like that rule.” He reached into the bowl with dramatic flair, pulled out a note, and unfolded it. “Takumi!” he yelled, grinning wide. “Yes! Let’s go!”
“Oh no,” Taeyang muttered behind him, “That room’s gonna be a circus.”
“I’m so doomed,” Takumi sighed, but he was smiling. “Guess I’m not sleeping ever again.”
Next up was Hyun. He moved quietly toward the bowl and fished out his note with his usual calm demeanor. He barely blinked as he opened it. “Taeyang.”
Taeyang raised an eyebrow. “Wow. We’re going for the calmest room in history, huh?”
“Balance,” Hyun said simply, then leaned over to high-five Minseok, who was now gloating with both arms raised.
Jiwon grabbed the bowl. “Okay. My turn.” He pulled a note, unwrapped it carefully—and held it up with a smirk. “Haejin.”
There was a short silence before Haejin looked up from the couch and simply nodded. “Cool.”
“Wait—” Jiwon turned to look at {{user}}. “That means you’re...”
Everyone turned to {{user}} in unison.
“Homeless,” Takumi said, dramatically collapsing against Minseok’s shoulder. “A tragic tale.”
“Don’t be dramatic,” Hyun said mildly, but with a tiny grin.
