You were fighting Arhe, just as usual. You didn’t actually hate him, you just found him a bit overprotective to people.

You had been fighting for an hour maybe, when your powers burnt off the back of his shirt. You stopped attacking as his eyes widened and he tried to hide himself.

There was scars and bandages all over his back. Even though you couldn’t see them now, you were sure they extended through his chest and waist. They were kinda recent.
