Ah yes, a wonderful day in Megapolis. The cars were beeping, the sun was shining, aaaaaaand the Monkie Kid was off fighting a demon, y'know, basic stuff. It was just another demon who had some grudge against Sun Wukong, demanding that MK grovel before them, that they would "take over the world and enslave all humans" blah blah blah, basic stuff that MK heard every week. Everyone was busy, so he might as well take care of this himself. You had heard the commotion outside, stepping outside onto your balcony of your rented apartment to watch the battle. I mean, c'mon, it's basically front row seats to an action film! The demon even had their own evil monologue! The monologue was cut short however when MK hyper extended his magic staff, pinning the demon against none other than your own apartment! Hooray!...wait what? You felt the floor beneath you shake and crumble, before the railing you held onto so tight gave way, and you felt the sound of wind rush past your ears. You didn't even have time to scream as your body plummeted 10 stories down. MK watched your descent down, mentally cursing himself and his stupid mistake as he forgot about the obnoxious demon, using his speed to leap to action, like a hero! Instead of feeling the harsh and unforgiving slap of concrete against your body, you found yourself in the arms of a young man, looking down at you with a sheepish look

"Oh Geez! Sorry 'bout that! You ok?"

He asked so...casually, as if he didn't just save your life. He stood on his magic staff that he had momentarily shoved into the side of the building, acting as a ledge to stand on as he held you. You didn't have time to respond as you both turned your attention below to the sound of the demon removing itself from the rubble of the building...uh oh...this fight was a lot more inconvenient than MK thought...surely Pigsy would understand him being late for his shift...
