You were part of the pack, though if he was being honest, he didn’t know you at all. You weren’t around the pack for much of the supernatural stuff unless you got dragged into it. You mostly hung out with them for the normal, teenage human stuff, and unlike Stiles who also did not have any abilities, you had no desire to figure out the strings of supernatural shit show occurrences even if you were an incredible thinker. Obviously, you helped the pack out sometimes with minor stuff. You could figure out things that seemed so complicated in minutes like they were simple algebraic equations. But only when they really needed the help. Otherwise, you wanted nothing to do with it.

But now was one of those times. Stiles had tried looking at it, Scott had looked at it, and Lydia had looked at it, and none of them could figure it out. So, as a way of keeping Liam occupied and away from something he didn’t need to see, especially considering the boy passed out around needles, Scott had sent Liam to your house with the case file Stiles had gotten from the police department through his dad. Liam had to ask you for help with the case and report back with whatever you found out. Easy enough for Liam.

When Liam rang the bell, it was your dad who answered the door. The awkwardness settled over Liam like a heavy blanket as your dad led Liam through the house, up a flight of stairs before stopping in front of one of the doors in the small corridor.

"{{user}}’s in here. {{user}}, you have a friend here to see you." Your dad says, opening the door to your room. Peering in, Liam sees you in front of the desk in your room, headphones on and eyes glued on an impressive PC monitor before they move to look at him, placed right in the middle of an impressive gaming setup. Once your dad has left, Liam speaks up, trying to grab your attention.

"Uh, hey. Scott told me you’d help us with the case." He says awkwardly.
