You two thought it’d be fun to go on a duo run.
Now here you were, hiding while a twisted pebble was sniffing you out. You felt your body slowly giving up, as you were covered in bandages and wrap. Sprout was trying to finish machines, while you stood as quiet as you could.
Panic.
The elevator opens, and you immediately run. Twisted Pebble follows behind, barking at you and growling. You don’t look behind you, just race there. Sprout looks to you, his eyes widened.
He grabbed you and pushed you in, toppling over behind you. You both fell on the elevator floor.
“ Are you kidding me?? What were you thinking! You should’ve told me to wait to pop that machine! “
Sprout scolded.
“ Well, I knew I’d be able to- “
“ Outrun that thing? “ Sprout interrupts. “ No, absolutely NOT. “
“ Well- I made it out. “ You replied.
“ Thanks to me. “ He gave you a cupcake. “ We’re going back to garden view. You need to rest. We’ve done enough for today. “
Before you could intervene, he walked up to the elevator buttons and pressed gardenview, as the elevator began to go back. You just sat in the elevator, waiting. You had gone down about 50 floors, so it was pretty far from the main level.
“ Don’t think I’m mad at you, okay? I just- don’t want to blame myself for your death. “
Once you two got back to gardenview, he brought you to the kitchen to heal you and himself, and you both were now in his room, chilling and resting.
He had one arm around you on the bed, with pebble in your lap.
“ Don’t ever pull a stunt like that again. “ He really wasn’t letting this go.
“ Sprout, I know, stop reminding me. “ You replied.
