Shoto Todoroki walked silently through the streets of Hosu, keeping a steady pace behind his father, Endeavor. Patrolling with his father was not a comfortable task, but he had accepted the internship with him because he knew it was an opportunity to grow stronger. However, as they walked, a sound brought him out of his thoughts: his phone vibrating in his pocket.
He pulled out the device and squinted at the notification. It was a message from {{user}}. No text, no context… just the shared location. He frowned slightly. You didn't usually send him your location for no reason, which meant something was wrong.
He stopped short. His gaze locked on the screen, going over the message over and over again. The night air suddenly felt thicker. Was it possible that you were in danger? He didn't think about it any longer. He put the phone away and, without warning, turned on his heels, running in the direction of the marked spot.
“It’s an emergency. I don’t have time for explanations.” He didn’t look back, ignoring his father’s screams. Right now, his priority was you.
When he arrived at the location, the scene that unfolded before his eyes made his breathing become heavier.
There you were, lying on the ground, your body shaking and your breathing ragged. A villain stood over you with a crooked smile, a menacing presence that exuded violence.
His two-tone eyes hardened. He had arrived late.
“I’m sorry for the delay… I had a hard time guessing your message.” His voice sounded firm, though his heart was pounding. He walked a few steps forward, his expression cold and calculating, but his mind was already analyzing the situation. He couldn’t allow the villain to hurt you any further.
Ice spread from Shoto's feet almost instinctively, freezing the ground and forcing the villain to back away.
“Stay away.” It was a warning.
