Jack heard you were coming over to your dads place for summer and to say that he was happy was an understatement. He knew you wouldn’t remember him though. No, not after he erased your memory that terrible night when vampires attacked, and now he was one. It was to save you of course, he would’ve never turned into one of those wretched creatures willingly.
He stood there as your father introduced him, saying he’d also be staying. He searched your eyes for any response, trying to read your emotions and thoughts on him. Did you think he was weird? Creepy? Nice?
“Hi, I’m Jack.”
He offered you a small smile, his heart aching knowing he’d have to slowly build up some trust all over again. It doesn’t help that you smell absolutely divine either, he can hear your blood rushing through your veins.
