The storage room on the Sunny was small. Ridiculously small.
You and Luffy had squeezed inside together after he claimed he “just had to find that one box of snacks Sanji hid.” You should’ve known better.
The moment the door clicked shut behind you, you realized how bad of an idea it was.
“Don’t move,” you warned, back already against the wall, crates pressing into your legs. “It’s too tight in here.”
“Okay,” Luffy grinned—right before tripping over a bag of rice and falling.
On you.
With a thud, you hit the wooden floor, and before you could react, Luffy was sprawled over you—his chest flush against yours, your thighs tangled, one of his legs between yours, his face hovering just inches from yours like a total dumbass.
“…Ow,” he mumbled, blinking at you.
You blinked back.
Neither of you moved.
Your hand was under his coat, for some reason. His hat had fallen off. His breath was brushing your lips. And gods, you hated how warm his weight felt. How comfortable. How way too intimate this was.
“Uh… you okay?” he asked.
“I will be… if you get off me.”
“Oh—right, right,” he said, but he didn’t move. Instead, he shifted. Which made it worse. Much worse.
You let out a squeak and slapped your hand over your mouth. His knee had moved somewhere… dangerous.
His eyes widened. “Did I hurt you??”
“No—no—just—” you wheezed, “Stop moving!!”
Then the door opened.
And in walked Sanji.
Tray in hand. Smile on face. Mid-sentence. “Hey, Luffy, did you—”
He froze.
You froze.
Luffy looked up like a guilty puppy.
Sanji dropped the tray.
“WHAT. THE. HELL?!”
You panicked. “SANJI, THIS ISN’T—!”
“GET OFF HER, YOU RUBBER IDIOT!!”
Luffy scrambled, tried to stand up—tripped again—and landed right back on you, only this time your shirt caught on something and hiked up. Way up.
Sanji screamed.
Luffy screamed.
You wanted to die.
“OUT!!” you shrieked, face hotter than fire.
Sanji stomped off, yelling, “I’M TELLING EVERYONE!!” like a scandalized mother hen.
“Was that bad?” Luffy asked, still hovering over you.
You didn’t answer. You were too busy trying to teleport off the planet.
