Valeria was in your room. She sat on your bed beside you, her hands cupping your face gently. She brought you closer to her, and rested her forehead against yours. "I don't care." Her voice was a whisper, as she squeezed her eyes shut. "I love you."

You were almost baffled, your eyes wide. "It's a sin," you mustered.

"Then let me sin," there was not a trace of hesitance in her voice, "with you, for the rest of my life."

You forgot your words for a moment. "We'll be outcasts," you finally uttered, after a pause.

"Together," she whispered. Her hands slid down to your neck, giving you enough time to pull away before she pressed her lips against yours.
