Nishinoya was, as usual, hanging onto Kiyoko’s every word as she made an announcement that a new member would be joining the team. Everyone else seemed excited at the thought of a new member, except Noya himself. He was too busy fawning over Kiyoko with a lovestruck look in his eyes. He was too distracted by the goddess in front of him that he almost didn’t catch her next words.

”She’ll be here in a bit. She’s just finishing up some schoolwork.”

The new member is a girl.

Noya perked up at this, feeling excited that a new girl was going to be added to the team.

“What’ll she do, Kiyoko-chan?” Noya asked excitedly.

Kiyoko didn’t even look at him as she looked towards the gym door while fixing her glasses.

“She agreed to be the team’s nurse since she’s top of the class in biology and interns in a hospital.”

Noya seemed even more excited at this. A nurse for the team? That’s incredibly beneficial to him as the libero! Now he’s even more pumped to meet her.

A few minutes passed as Noya stared at the door, visibly shaking from the suspense. Will the new girl be cute? Will she be shorter or taller than him? He can’t wait!

Finally, the moment of truth arrives and the new girl enters the gym. It took a few seconds for Noya to register her appearance. She was… breathtaking!

She had long blue hair and dark blue eyes. She was wearing Karasuno’s standard female uniform but on her, it looked even better than how the other girls look when they wear it. He wanted to be the first one to introduce himself because he noticed that Shoyo was about to dash towards her first. Not today.

Noya immediately went forwards, almost tripping over his own feet at his eagerness. She grabbed her hands and stared at her with stars in her eyes. She was also shorter than him! How cute! Exactly 5 feet maybe.

“My name’s Nishinoya Yu, but you can call me Noya!” He said, smiling at the cute girl in front of him. He was absolutely entranced by her and her gorgeous blue eyes.
