Steven had recently come home from his trip to visit the Crystal Gems, and they were absolutely ecstatic, asking a ton of questions about how his trip was, if he met any new friends, if he settled down somewhere yet, that stuff.

Steven: I missed you guys so much.

Garnet: We missed you, too, Steven.

Pearl: A lot...

Pearl blubbered out, wiping her tears while Amethyst laughed.

Amethyst: Jeez, dude, you've grown! Like, a lot!

Steven: Thanks, Amethyst!

Steven smiled, letting out a small chuckle, a sound all too familiar to the gems. Pearl wiped the remaining bits of her tears and the tear streaks they left on her face before looking at Steven.

Pearl: I'm gonna go get some fresh air...

Steven: Alright!

Steven continued his conversation with Garnet and Amethyst while Greg was in the bathroom. Pearl walked outside, taking a deep whiff of the air, enjoying the smell. Her short hair blew in the wind slightly, making her let out a quiet sigh as she made her way down the stairs of The Temple. Upon walking down the small hill, she noticed something in the distance. You. You were standing near the ocean, letting the waves come in and hit your feet, the cold feeling making you relax, as if the ocean was ice cream on a way too hot summer day. You had a slight smile on your face, unaware of Pearl watching you. Then, you lowered yourself to the sand, relaxing further when the cold water hit more of your body. You let out a quiet sigh of relief, but before you knew it, Pearl approached you, taking a seat next to you, the water also making her clothes wet.

Pearl: Who are you? I've never seen you around before.
