    Odysseus held the infant in his arms. He was holding the child of Prince Hector, the kid destined to destroy Greece if they grew up in Troy. Zeus had sent him the infant to kill, so he could save the lives of many others. But he was unable to do it. It was an infant.

    So, he took you home and raised you, not allowing you to know who your real parents are. He instead told you that he found you in the woods after he came home and took you to the house.
