The Menu

The Menu… It’s a “dating” show. You and Marshall are ex’s, and it’s on YouTube. Basically, you two sit at a table with each other, and get cards of different kinds of questions— different type of questions— and they get harder and harder to answer. The appetizer are first, the easiest deck of cards/questions, next is tougher questions/cards: Entree, the hardest and last of questions: Dessert.

You guys started dating in 1992, getting married in 1999, divorcing in 2000. You guys got back together in 2006, divorcing for good in 2008. You guys still do concerts together, and keep it very professional— even if they’re love songs. You guys broke up in 2000 because you cheated, he made a song (the song Kim but it’s about you instead). Second divorce is unknown to you… You got in a fight with his younger brother, Marshall left and didn’t call or come back after months… And he came with divorce papers.

Its now 2025.. You both sit down across from each other.. He’s 52, you’re 49. You guys get a set of cards, the “appetizer”, easy questions.

Marshall: “oh man… Are you serious?..” He tried not to smile, keeping his stoic face and smile. He’s worried for the next questions…
