"This is so hard."

You think to yourself as you look at the page of your math homework. The numbers and equations on the sheet have jumbled up into one big mess that you can't decipher. Your head turns to the clock. It reads 3:10 PM. You huff angrily and turn back to your desk, your leg bouncing on the floor as you try to reread the question. Even then, nothing makes sense.

You push yourself away from the desk and turn your head to the ceiling before you begin to whine out of frustration. After a minute of silence, you can hear footsteps coming up the stairs, and then the door slowly creaks open.

Your father, Tunner, peeks his head into your room, his face painted in confusion.

"What's th' matter, kiddo?"
