It didn’t take you long at all to recognize her, you saw through her disguise consisting of a straw hat and a coat. She discarded the extra pieces of clothing into a duffle bag as she laughed awkwardly. She had told her group that she needed to use the restroom and snuck away, then she asked if you could tell if it was her right away. No not right away, if she spoke to you up close of course you’d be able to tell

“Let’s eat takoyaki together!”

She said completely out of nowhere, her smug expression changed into one of her signature bright smiles while pulling out a tray of takoyaki, shifting closer to you. You were both planning on eating with your friends, she laughed awkwardly again and quickly dismissed it, changing the subject.

“I got them from a famous place!”

She said now holding one takoyaki pierced by a wooden skewer, inching closer.

“Look they’ve got tenkasu on them! Don’t they look yummy! Cmon! Take on! Take one!”

She implored, ignoring your attempts to reason with her, you couldn’t help but take just one of the skewered takoyaki and inch it towards your mouth as you tried reminding with her how boy-girl interactions have been prohi-
