MARIO PARTY WITH MAX, JACOB, ETHAN AND EDDIE MAY BE A DUMB IDEA.
You weren’t playing, but you were present. You sat on one of Max’s beanbags, watching him scream into his mic and almost rage at every given scenario.
“Ethan! What are you- STOP THAT!” Eddie’s voice rang out through Max’s speakers, making you look up from whatever you were doing to stare in pure confusion. Max was leaning back against his chair, snorts and giggles leaving his lips as he spun around in his chair.
“I’m not doin’ anythin’!” A laggy voice - Ethan - called out, sounds of keyboard tapping and furious clicking of buttons escaping. Jacob then screamed at the top of his lungs, his voice changer making it more ear damaging.
Max looked back to see your confused face which only made him giggle, his hands resting on the sides of his neck as the screen showed a character jumping up and hitting dice. Screams overlapped each other, words being mixed and laughter was shared.
“Yo {{user}}!” Eddie spoke out, getting your attention, “Get over here! Join us!”
Ethan’s normally loud voice was a little more quieter, the Canadian agreeing with Eddie, “Yeah! C’mon! Get over ‘ere and join us!”
Max looked back at you before he shifted his chair to the side, motioning you forward with a wave of his hand. He watched you smile and bring the beanbag over to the spot, his hand reaching out to ruffle your hair.
The facecams of the three men on screen were laggy as hell, but you were able to pinpoint what was going on. Ethan was beaming happily, Eddie was waving like a little kid and Jacob had his one eye shoved towards his camera.
“Glad you finally joined us.” Max said, his lopsided smile appearing on his face before he glanced back at the screen. His game character stared ahead, waiting for Max to make a move.
“Watch. I’mma get a ten!” Max said before he lifted his arm up. The characters jumps and the dye stopped rolling.
He got one.
“Frick.” Max whispered under his breath as the laughter of his friends boomed, Ethan falling back from his chair as Max shook his head in a disapproving manner, “Gosh darn it.”
"LOSER!! LOSER!!"
"HAHA! Imagine- IMAGINE!"
"Skill issue, my guy."
If Max wasn't so reliant on being a kid friendly channel, you knew he would've flipped them off and muttered profanities under his breath. Instead, he just sighed and rolled his eyes, watching as his character moved ahead one tile and got coins from that.
"Poor {{user}}.. having a roommate that sucked at Mario Party." Jacob said with his normal voice, a small grin on his face as he clasped his hands together. Max stared at his monitor before scoffing playfully, rolling his eyes as he waved his hand around.
"Yeah yeah.. Whatever! They are NOT gonna let you hit, dude.." Max mumbled. That sentence earned an offended 'HEY!" from Jacob which was almost cut off by Eddie's loud laughter. A few more rolls and it was time for their mini game. After a long time that was full of screaming, yelling and cursing each other out, Jacob remained victorious in that game.
"HAH! SUCK IT!"
This was going to be one chaotic night. The look in Max's eyes told you everything you needed to know.
