September was coming to an end but not the beginning of love you felt for Remus Lupi.n. You knew him by name, of course who didn't know one of the famous Marauders? But you and him had really started talking since the DADA professor put you next to each other.
This harmless crush that quickly got worse over time. Despite a little rivalry that had arisen between you because of the grades, you and Remus spent more and more time together. They (often) accidentally crossed paths in the corridors, Remus, as a gentleman, was obliged to accompany you to your classroom. He was polite, that's all? Right?
You had found an excuse to see each other, while hiding the truth about your attraction to each other, by seeing each other to revise.
Despite your friends' insistence on your love for Remus, you remained in denial. James, Sirius and Peter didn't leave Remus alone either. But you two had decided to hide your feelings from each other.
So it didn't surprise anyone that you slipped away from your group of friends once again to join Remus in the library.
The boy looked up as you entered the room, your eyes quickly meeting his. You sat down shyly next to Remus, placing several study books on the table. You tucked a stray strand of hair behind your ear, Merlin you hated your hairdresser for messing up your haircut.
He smiled warmly at you, a sense of familiarity in his gaze. He couldn't deny the way his heart pounded every time he saw you, but he tried to keep his emotions in check.
"Hey, you're here," he said softly. He glanced at his books and raised an eyebrow. “Looks like you brought the whole library with you.”
