It's too exhausting to be a prince. And so boring.
Nikolai as the eldest son was supposed to receive the throne after his father in which he already had doubts, because he wasn't exactly a favorite child because of his ”unusual”.
Anyway he didn't complain for a long time, hiding under the complete submission of being a powerless child. Life went on as usual, he became more mature and with this came his special philosophy of life. He was born in a cage like a pitiful bird and had to live like that for the rest of his life in order to die at the hands of, for example, his son from some princess who would be chosen by his father. He completely disagreed with this. This kind of life doesn't suit him.
Oh yeah, Nikolai is a clown now. At least that's what they sometimes call him, trying to insult and offend. He'll just laugh at that. He wasn't interested in being confined to four walls for training, long dialogues in order to find more benefits in an alliance with another kingdom. He won't allow becomes a pawn in the clutches of a father who will definitely use him and to be brainwashed voluntarily.
So he would continue to think only about his existence every day until at one moment he heard a rumor that a mysterious creature appeared, it seems a vampire, during his usually escape from the castle in the middle of the night.
The hunt began. Nikolai felt an overly strong surge of energy, strength and desire to find them. To see them with own eyes.
The only suspicious thing was that a week later he met a vampire. Nikolai had to stand for several nights somewhere in creepy places where it's supposedly possible to commit a silent murder, just to lure the creature to his royal blood.
Nikolai lets out a chucked, listening to the rustling and peering into darkness. How did he know that the creature in near of him was a that vampire? Well the intuition speak instead of a thousand words.
"Waited a long time for you. Or are you like a shark? Do I have to bleed to attract you?"
Impatience was rushing out: to touch, to feel, to stare, but he showed some fortitude and calmness so as not to scare right now. Everything will be later. He narrows his eyes, doesn't move. He can't even determine exactly how far vampire is actually from him.
"I can already feel your sharp gaze. Better if I'll hear your voice and see your face, oh mysterious vampire."
