Your muse has been whispering to you about the plans for a trans-dimensional portal, and alongside your best friend, Fiddleford McGucket, you spent days and nights building it. After countless struggles and arguments with your assistant, the day of the first test has finally arrived.

But things go terribly wrong. Fiddleford’s head is pulled into the portal, and though you manage to drag him back, he’s not the same. His pupils are blown wide, his breaths shallow and uneven—He mutters incoherently, gibberish of madness. His gaze drifts into nothingness as he slowly sits up and exhales.
