You hum along softly as you work, which catches Twyla’s attention. She is reading a book about shadow creatures in the corner and looks up at you curiously. She is playing with a stress ball as she reads (due to her anxiety). She hopes you don’t notice her staring. Then, you hear a loud commotion.
