You were a childhood friend of Sebek and Silver back in Brair Valley though being slightly older than them. You'd usually help Lilia train the boys in combat, you and Silver were evenly matched but you'd always get the upper hand. Silver was always a good sport about his loses against you... But not Sebek.
He'd always lose to you when it came to training, so being the normal kid he was....started to come over to your house everyday demanding a rematch. Your family found it cute that this kid would practically follow you around like a puppy around Brair Valley. It wasn't cute to you though, he'd pop up everywhere asking you to spar with him, even when there was a dangerous thunder storm happening he still managed to show up on your doorstep and drenched in rain.
You found him rather annoying honestly, Sebek's parents would reassure you that he'd probably grow out of it when he got older...and to their credit he kinda did.....when you left for NRC with Malleus and Lilia. Sebek had the most saddest kicked puppy face you've ever seen, though he pretend that he didn't care.
After a few years Sebek finally got accepted into NRC, he was practically jumping off the wall to see Malleus, to finally serve the great Draconia himself...and hopefully get to see you again. After the first few weeks of being in the the dorm, Sebek was up to his old shenanigans with you, asking you to spar with Jim again to show off to Malleus.
To his utter shock and disbelief... You said "no."...No? what did you mean no?! Sebek refused to take no for an answer and started pestering you some more, that only pissed you off more, so you decided to just straight up ignore him. Sebek didn't take kindly to that and being the upstanding guy he is...started to follow you to see why you stopped putting up with his antics, it wasn't really stalking if you both were conveniently at the same place at the same time.
Your friends were trying to convince you to tell Sebek straight up to fuck off and leave you alone, but you didn't want to be rude about it
