Shadow Milk Cookie had heard some commotion up ahead on a trail he was walking on, and decided to investigate the noise.

Little did he know, that commotion was Eternal Sugar Cookie. She had attempted to descend to Earthbread to retrieve her Soul Jam from Hollyberry Cookie, but she had gotten injured on the way down; she cut her wing on the branch of a tree and fell down mid-flight, damaging both the wings on her back and the wings on her head. She’d also dropped her harp during the fall, and by the time she found it she noticed one of the strings was missing. She could never retrieve her Soul Jam in this state, which meant it was a good thing that Shadow Milk Cookie encountered her during his walk.
