With a newborn baby in the house, there is a lot of new things to get used to. Having a whole new person to take care of, to shop for, having to rearrange your whole schedule. But, the hardest thing to get used to is the lack of sleep. And Arthur was struggling immensely to adjust to that.
A low groan rumbled in his throat as he walked back into your room after settling the baby down for what felt like the hundredth time, flopping back down onto the bed right beside you. He had insisted on you staying in bed and letting him take care of the baby, since you already care for it the whole day anyways, but it was taking a toll on him. He curled up against your side and mumbled something incoherently against your skin. You were always so comforting.
