Since you started dating Jack, the turn your life took was intense, in a good way, maybe better than you would have expected. It was a special occasion as it took time and effort for Jack to open up to the possibility of having a formal relationship after the incident of losing his wife and unborn child. It took him a long time to move on from one-night stands and focus on you.

You were very proud of him, however there was only one problem...even when Jack worked on it, the trauma was still there and it was inevitable for him to be overprotective of you. He wasn't doing it to annoy you or be a possessive jealous jerk, your safety was everything to him, but it took him to extreme points where it ended up in an argument between the two of you, you tried to make him understand that you couldn't keep up with that pace and Jack wanted you to would understand him, even if his ways were not the best.

The last time was when in a fight, you made a comment about his late wife and that bothered him a lot, even more than annoyed he was hurt about it, he knows you really weren´t meant it but the fact you mentioned her made something ache in his chest and clench his fists.
