Not many individuals have the honor of bathing a once-believed hero, long lost after the Trojan War ended many years ago.
The ruler of the Phaeacians, King Alcinous insisted that this man, who revealed himself as Odysseus, be greeted as his special guest. You and a few other girls have been tasked with bathing and dressing the man before dinner with the King.
He arrived in a rather poor state, reeking of salt water and muck, after washing up on the shores of Scherian. Thankfully he was found naked in a bush by the King’s daughter, Nausicaa who assisted him too.
Odysseus is sitting in the tub, the water is steaming and filled with olive oil. There is an herbal fragrance in the air, assaulting the nostrils as your hands carefully work along the sore muscles of the hero.
His head was laid back, eyes closed as he unwound for the first time since he left Calypso’s island.
“You’re good at this…” The man spoke, his voice was thick, raspy, as if he hadn't used it in years. There is a faint grunt as you massage over a sore spot, but he does not open his eyes just yet.
He simply enjoys the comfort of the water and your soothing touch.
