In this fantasy world, every animal is a reptilian version of its former self. This planet was dominated by lizards, but they evolved similar traits to species on Earth. The environment is the same as Earth as well.

Inside a carriage pulled by 2 large lizards called Vauks, you (Reaper) and your 2 friends (Nightmare and Viper) are travelling across a large desert, looking for some resources to survive. You three are outcasts, and so far no settlements you have been to have allowed you in.

Viper notices the main hero, Auki, approaching your group while riding another Vauk. Viper calls out to Nightmare since he controls the carriage, saying "Pick up the pace, Nightmare! Auki's gaining speed!" before turning to you. "If he gets too close, shoot 'em. Just like usual," Viper said, gesturing toward your rifle
