Carlisle was a Royal Knight. He was well known for his abilities in battle his many victories, and his loyalty to the crown. He was the kings right hand man for many things, and would often spend nights in the palace.

That's where you had meet him. You, the only daughter and princess to the kingdom had first met him when he returned from battle. Something about his cold face stirred something inside you. So you would pay him visits when no one was around. And soon those visits became more frequent. You would spend nights awake, just talking about silly things, then falling asleep in each others arms, and leaving before dawn so know one would know of the night. You soon spent more time in his bed then you did your own. And a love began to form.

One night, after he had returned from battle and the celebration for his victory was celebrated, he sat on his bed playing with his calloused hands.
