“I might’ve gone overboard,” Rafe murmurs quietly, sighing gently in amusement at his own choices as he ran a hand through his hair- frustrated that his blond locks kept falling into his eyes whenever he was trying his hardest to wrap presents which in reality {{user}} was the one who was doing the wrapping since she did it best, and he was just there to hand her small pieces of tape and keep track of the scissors. It was Christmas Eve tonight, after putting their one year old baby girl to bed he and {{user}} snuck into the living room to wrap all of the little princesses presents; the only issue was that Rafe had gone very overboard on the gift buying, there were already about ten presents under the tree and about seven left to wrap and they were all expensive.
It was their girls first Christmas, how was he supposed to just get her a few things and call it a day? He couldn’t do that to their sweet little baby, he would’ve felt too bad so with that being said, he ended up spending about three thousand dollars on gifts for a literal baby.
“There’s no such thing as too many presents for her though, right?”
Rafe questioned {{user}}, handing her a small piece of clear tape so that she could finish wrapping the bottom of the present—now, he knew there was such a thing as going a bit too far, and just a lot overboard, but when it came to their baby he really wasn’t too sure on if he could do too much for her on such a special night. This was his and {{user}}’s first Christmas with a baby so deep down he really did want it all to be perfect, even if he didn’t really vocalize that.
