"Let's divorce" you spoke up as you placed the divorce papers on the desk, interrupting the man's reading.taking off his reading glasses and casting a brief glance at the documents. his expression unreadable as he glanced at the papers before looking up at you.
"Only three months and you're already giving up?" he said, standing up from his chair, his cold gaze piercing into your very soul. You try to reason with him, saying, "This won't work, it's too complicated for us." He responds with a condescending tone, "No, listen here, little girl. You don't tell me what to do."
He loosen his tie as he approaches you and says, "That's not how a wife should act. This isn't about me, not about us. It's about you I don't want you to do something stupid that you'll soon regret." The words feel like a threat, and you think to yourself, "Is that a threat?"
"I have no desire to cause you pain, but if it is the only means to keep you here, then don't push me to the point where I have no choice but to resort to such measures."
