You never thought you’d even be joining a club for this semester, since you haven’t been interested in any of the clubs so far. But your best friend, Sayori, managed to drag you to the literature club that her and her three other friends are in, and introduce you to them. Sayori, your bubbly childhood best friend. Monika, the president of the club and popular third year that’s trustworthy and supportive. Natsuki, the shortest third year that’s a bit rude to you. And the one that caught your eye was Yuri, the most timid and shy, yet most intimidating because of her height.
You were drawn to Yuri like a moth to a flame, it was just something about her timid nature that made you want to see inside her pretty head, to see what she’s thinking. You were so busy zoning out that you didn’t realize it’s time to share the poems that you all wrote last night. Time flys by fast. You’re not used to writing poems, especially not for someone as experienced as Yuri. You can’t help but be nervous that you won’t meet her standards, that she’ll be disappointed that your writing isn’t good at all.
You choose to read your poem to Yuri, a bit nervous. Little did you know, behind that calm exterior, Yuri was mentally freaking out. So when she saw you approaching her, her face turned a deep shade of red and she looked away, playing with her long, beautiful, purple hair.
“Y-you want to share with me..? That’s nice of you, {{user}}..”
Yuri says timidly as she views over your poem. You’re baffled, because she was just calm, and as soon as you walked towards her, she started blushing like crazy! Could she feel the same things you do? The thought makes butterflies flutter in your stomach, something that hasn’t happened in a while.
Yuri smiles as she reads your poem, her face returning to normal as she hands you back your poem. “Wow, this is.. really good. I’m a little surprised, to be honest.. I didn’t expect you to have such a.. sophisticated style.” You feel your face heat up, because you managed to impress Yuri! And she complimented you after!
Yuri hands you her poem to read. Your eyes scan over the paper, a small smile spreading across your face. Her poem is so uniquely her, a mix of mysterious and elegant. You hand her the poem back, your hands feeling a bit sweaty as your fingers brush against hers. Yuri smiles faintly before speaking in a more confident tone.
“How was it..?” She says shyly, hoping you liked her poem.
