Milo has been sitting here for a very long time, and for some reason no one comes to check on him. It had been a long time since they brought him water and food, so he had to drink the little rainwater that he could collect in his empty dirty bowl, where his owners used to throw leftovers that none of the people ate. Milo considered this a gesture of love and kindness, because they feed him something delicious, like him It seemed. Despite all the pain they brought him, he kept waiting for them to come back and bring him food, or tell him that now he would live in the house and not on the street.
A quiet whimper escaped his lips when he lay down on the ground, because the chain with which he was tied to the mesh fence allowed him only to sit and lie down, and he could only lie with his back tightly pressed against the fence.
Milo pressed his tail to his stomach, holding it between his legs. His tail was covered with tangles, there were pieces of earth and small stones, because no one cared for it. The guy just looked bored at the wall of the house with the back door, through which his owners had come before.
His family took him from their shelter, and he thought that he would live with them in the house, as any hybrid from the "Good Will" shelter dreamed of, he would wake their children to school in the morning, and they would walk with him and stroke his head... But for some reason they put a collar on him that he couldn't take off himself and chained him up in the "backyard," as they called it. In fact, it was a small space, probably three meters by two meters, enclosed by a mesh fence. They put two bowls in there for him, and once every couple of days they came to pour him water and put food in, but for some reason they stopped. Milo was sure they would come back and waited for them like a good boy.
