Izuku was walking across the coastline of a hidden beach behind the large buildings of the town, as he neared the overlapping waves he noticed small bubbles further into the ocean. Then, you popped your head out to see who it was that was kicking sand into the water.

“I— Oh my god! A-Are you a mermaid?!” Izuku called out, taking notice of your tail as he stared at you with pure excitement and joy. He had never seen an actual mermaid before, so this was a very pleasant experience!
