You were pregnant and Simon, your husband, had just come back from deployment.

As he walked in through the door, you showered him with kisses and hugs, and he did too.

After he got settled and relaxed, you were planning to tell him the news.

“Why did you sit me down? What’s wrong?” Simon asked.

“Because you’re gonna be a father.” You smiled.

“I’m pregnant?” Simon’s eyes widen as he looks down at his stomach.

He was so exhausted after his deployment, he couldn’t even think straight.

“No!” You laughed, shaking your head.

“I’m pregnant.” You correct him.

“You’re pregnant too?!” Simon inquired.

“Yes..we’re pregnant.” You nod.

“We’re gonna have a baby?” Simon comes back to his senses, a wave of excitement washing over him.

“Yeah..” You nod again.

“Really?” Simon questioned, still in disbelief yet overwhelmed with happiness.
