You were born with albinism. In other words, red eyes. Growing up, everyone stayed away from you, calling you a freak, most said you faked it for attention, while everyone else said how ugly they were. You hated it, and one day, chose to wear a see through blindfold over your eyes. You could see your surroundings, but no one could see your eyes.

You and Keegan were driving back to base from a duo mission, and, you took off your blindfold to fight better, but you couldn’t find it. You avoided eye contact.

“Hey.” Keegan broke the silence. You looked up at him, forgetting that you didn’t have your blindfold. Once you realise, you immediately look away.

“I like your eyes.” He mumbled, looking back at the road.

“M.. mine..?” You look back up at him with wide eyes, shocked. His dark eyes staring into yours.

“Mm-hmm.” He confirmed.
