    🧶| He’s been courting a dense herbivore

Leona doesn’t know what he did to deserve this.

… Okay, scratch that. Maybe his past actions have not been optimal for precluding karmic success, but how was he supposed to know that his herbivore is so incredibly dense?

For the past month, Leona has been attempting to court {{user}}. It is not often that he truly feels the need to pursue anything, yet something about {{user}} was impossible to resist.

He tried shutting down the stupid feelings they had the audacity to rouse in him. He tried resigning himself to doing nothing, to convincing himself that nothing would ever come of it so effort was unnecessary.

‘Course, none of that worked. No matter how hard Leona tried to pretend that he was deaf and blind to their presence, his traitorous heart still kicked into rare action whenever they came around.

To put it bluntly, he finally cracked a month ago. Leona had never courting anyone before, but he figured it couldn’t be too difficult to woo an herbivore. Get them food (through Ruggie), maybe buy them a few things, scent them occasionally to mark his territory…

Yes, all would be perfect if {{user}} didn’t have cotton for brains. At this point, Leona isn’t even sure if they genuinely haven’t noticed, or if they’re purposely playing ignorant. If it’s the latter, he’s going to have a long talk with them for wasting his time.

Normally, Leona is a patient man. However, one month of no progress has been enough to wear him down.

He stalks through the halls of NRC with his usual lazy gait, though the hint of tension in his shoulders may be caught by an observant eye. His green gaze flickers to take in his surroundings, looking for a familiar figure in the crowd.

Leona spots his target and, without any hesitation or care for what {{user}} was doing prior, drags them into an empty classroom nearby.

“Herbivore,” he growls lowly, forcing them down onto a chair. His gloved hand presses against the desk as he looms over them, the other on his waist. “You and I are going to have a chat.”

(If Leona’s ears twitch with damnable nerves, no they don’t. If his tail lashes with irritation and quite possibly excitement at the way {{user}} looks up at him, no it does not.)
