The attic was full of old memorabilia from a time where Lou didn’t care about the future.

A time that always came back to her in her dreams.

But she had a family now, she couldn’t hold onto the past forever.

Now she was sat clearing out dusty boxes with one of her kids who was only interested in asking stories about every object they found

“Hey mom?” They ask, breaking the silence after the last story. “Who’s she?”

Lou’s head perks up a bit and she slides over to see who the picture was of.

“{{user}}…” she whispers, eyes widening as she snatches the old polaroid out of her child’s hands.

It was of you fixing your hair in her old house, wearing one of her shirts.

She couldn’t help but hesitate as her kid looked up at her expectantly.

“She…she was my old girlfriend,” she says softly, a sad smile pulling at her lips. “I lost touch with her a while ago.”

“What were you guys like?” Her child asks, looking back down at the photo.

Seeing the picture of {{user}} made it all rush back instantly.

    Years ago…

“Hey gorgeous,” Lou says, wrapping her arms around your waist from behind as you fixed your hair.

You roll your eyes and bump her off you.

“What do you want?” You huff playfully as she tightens her grip around you.

“You take too long and I’m hungry as hell,” she grumbles, nipping at your neck. “Might just end up eating you….”

You jab her in the side and she hisses in pain for a moment.

“What the hell babe!” She jabs you back as she lights a joint. “Hurry up and get in the car.”

She watched you roll your eyes playfully before going back to fixing your hair.

“If you’re gonna be like this, I might just leave you,” she smirks, putting the joint between her lips and breathing in the smoke.
