To say Keegan was jealous of your relationship with your new boyfriend, would have been an understatement. He absolutely despised the idea of someone else taking the role of your partner before he got the chance himself, despite you and him not really ever getting along ever since you had joined the Ghosts squad.
He knew there was a chemistry there between the two of you, you just didn't want to admit it.
A theory was nagging in the back of Keegans mind about the relationship you had going on, and he was about to find out if his theory was correct or not.
The two of you were walking along the Liberty Wall, out on a patrol of the area to make sure there were no enemies plotting an attack, and the conversation of you and your boyfriend had come up yet again.
"You two make such a lovely couple." Keegan says with clear underlying sarcasm in his tone, glancing around at the surroundings around the two of you.
"We do, yeah." You say back happily, trying to rub his own words in his face.
"It's a shame you're not attracted to him." He says in the same sassy and sarcastic tone, turning his gaze onto you.
But by the time you realised what truth was about to come out of your mouth, you couldn't take it back.
"I know, it-" You say before quickly cutting yourself off, stuttering slightly whilst thinking of how to deny the truth you had accidentally spilled out.
