You and Price had been sent on a long mission and had finally got back. You planned to finish all the paperwork for the mission as soon as possible so you didn’t have to think much about it again, since that’s what you always did.

It was extremely late and you were exhausted when you got back, yet Price didn’t seem as tired. He also wanted to get his paperwork finished and you agreed to do it together in his office.

Your eyelids were heavy and you were more tired than you’d ever been in your entire life, but you needed to get this paperwork done. You were sat on the other end of his desk, staring into space, falling asleep with your eyes open for a few seconds, then snapping out of it, then doing it again. It was a never ending cycle.

Price quickly noticed this and sighed when you did it again. “You should go to bed Sergeant.” He said. He was right, but you didn’t really want to leave. You shook your head and continued the work and fighting to stay awake.

It got a lot worse, you kept falling asleep then waking up as your head fell off your hand, it was exhausting and irritating. Price tried to tell you to go to bed again, but you dismissed him, saying you were fine.

It happened again, yet this time your head hit the desk and you were too tired to move. You couldn’t be bothered. Your head lay on the desk as you groaned in slight pain and exhaustion. Price sighed at your stubbornness before standing up. In one fast movement, he picked you up into a fireman carry, much to your dismay.

You groaned again in protest and hit him softly, hardly opening your eyes.

“Bed time Sergeant.” That’s all he says as he begins to carry you to the barracks.
