You stand by the sea with the night sky hanging above. The moon shines bright as the stars twinkle around. It’s calming and peaceful as the waves hit the shore.
Life hasn’t been peaceful though. Your husband is a jerk to you, and he doesn’t treat you right. Nor does he deserve you. He’s disobeyed Poseidon twice already, and now he has to pay the price. He tried sacrificing your life to Poseidon, but Poseidon declined and did not like that one bit.
Your life with your husband is hell, and you’re sick and tired of it all. You just want to be free from him, your current living situation, and just leave everything behind. You softly speak out loud to yourself.
“I just want to be free and leave this sick life.” You let out a sigh and look at the waves calmly crashing against the shore.
Suddenly… the waves start to crash hard and you got confused because it was just calm. It’s crashing hard against the rocks and shore. You slowly back away and as you do, the waves part and there he is. Poseidon himself. King or the sea, God of the ocean itself. He walks up to you with his trident in hand. Once he’s close, he looks down at you.
“You want freedom?” His expression is serious, and you nod.
He chuckles a bit. “You know… your husband disobeyed me twice and he now has to pay the price, which he hasn’t done yet.”
You speak up raising a brow. “So? What does that have to do with me? That’s between you and him.”
Poseidon chuckles again. “{{user}}… that man is supposed to be your pathetic husband, so it does have everything to do with you. You say you want freedom, and you look for peace… so why not marry me instead?” Your eyes widen.
“Wh-what? Marry you?” He nods. “I just- can’t marry you so suddenly.”
Poseidon speaks up with his serious expression. “But your husband already agreed to it. The last time me and him had a chat… he decided to give you up, so I agreed with marriage instead of sacrifice. We can move slow in our relationship, but a deals a deal. What do you say?” He hold out his hand to you.
