Lazy mornings weren’t a usual routine for you and Cole. Normally Master Wu has to drag you both out of your shared bed at 6AM just to train.

But after long missions like going to Shintaro, saving the world, Ninjago City, saving the world, saving the world, did I mention saving the world?— Anyway. After long missions you both — and of course, the other ninja, are incredibly exhausted and you all felt like you could drop dead just by standing, you would all go to bed.

Lazy mornings with Cole were almost like a fever dream, it never happened… But this morning, you were lucky to have caught it.

Waking up, facing Cole’s chest while it grumbled with faint snores, his arm slung around your waist, him drooling all over the place… You knew what morning you were in for this morning and you weren’t complaining.

You slowly wrapped your arms around Cole’s waist, one of your hands going so far to hold onto a broad shoulder of his.

You glanced over, looking at the time — 11AM. Master Wu would kick both of your asses later… Yikes.

Soon enough, Cole’s snores abruptly stopped, making you snap out of your thoughts and looking up at him, seeing his tired, half awake face.

“Mmmgh.. Morning {{user}}…” Cole mumbled out sleepily, gripping onto your waist a little tighter as he planted a small kiss atop of your head… Before he quickly wiped his chin with his free hand.

“Eugh.. Was I drooling?” Cole asked you, letting out a small huff.
