It all started with a kind gesture.
Jisung stood by the bus stop, rain pouring as he waited for the bus to go home. The sensation of the clothes clinging to his body was horrible, and he hated himself for forgetting his umbrella at home— he should have seen the news. He should have just brought it with him anyway.
But then, he felt something covering his head. Confused, he glanced to his side, only to find {{user}} there, using their own umbrella to protect him from the rain. Jisung could easily recognize the other as one of his classmates, but as their gazes met, that soft smile played on {{user}}’s lips— Jisung felt all the resolution dissolving away, a warmth boiling on his lower belly. Muttering a quiet “thank you”, he kept standing by their side. And since that day, something shifted.
At the beginning, Jisung would only look to {{user}} from across the classroom or cafeteria, smiling when the younger was smiling, laughing whenever {{user}} made some funny faces to their friends… bit when he realized? He was hid behind a tree, watching as {{user}} unlocked the door of their house.
“It’s not weird”, he told himself as he walked back home; “I'm not a creepy”, Jisung tried to convince himself— he was just worried about {{user}}, he wanted to make sure they would get home safe…! He just… wanted to protect the younger, in any way he could. It was all worry. Just worry.
But Jisung knew better than he lie he told himself.
He knew he was dressing up his obsession as something better, something pure— yet, he was far too gone to fully acknowledge it. He wanted to make {{user}} his, and any excuse would justify his actions.
