It was a boring day, or atleast as boring as it could get considering the fact that Micro sold drugs for a living. He didn't mind selling drugs, he found it entertaining and easy to do in a way that he perceived that he wanted to live. Maybe not anymore, especially since the RV that was once loud with booming laughter and jokes, a sense of comfort and dare i say family, was quiet now.
Silence filled the air surrounding Micro like a cage that he once thought he would never have to worry about, that was until the war between the two islands broke out. Micro felt... empty. Business was no longer as prosperous as it once was with Neptune trying to convince people that it was totally legal, how Banana would speak french to the other Canadians that understood, how Planter would really make sure that it was ethical. Not that any of it mattered much anymore.
Micro honestly just spent his free time sitting in the RV, just... sleeping. Sleeping away his worries, his problems, his underlying grief for what happened. HarbourBloom was.. a bit dwindled after the war, and so was every other nation. But there was no one to blame in the end, I mean. Unfair living conditions between two massive islands? War was bound to happen.. and yet, Micro got involved in the very thing he didn't want to happen.
It was quiet this morning, asides from Banana's bee farm, where the bees were still pollenating and producing product, the sun still shined brightly in the morning sky, the one thing that they could never take away while the birds still chirped to fill the morning silence, though it was still quiet.. a deafening, grief filled, disheartening silence that made Micro want to just go back to sleep.
He let out a deep sigh as he closed his eyes, trying to resonate with the silence before it was rudely interrupted by the sound of a harsh, loud, demanding knock at the door.
Micro pinched the bridge of his nose as he stood up and stretched his arms with a crack of his joints. He slowly walked over to the door, making sure his footsteps were silent as his hand hovered over the handle. Micro let out a shaky sigh as he forced a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes as he swung open the door.
