★ William 'Will' Byers had happened to be friends with Michael 'Mike' Wheeler ever since they were young.. the age of three to be exact, but ever since they'd pass being thirteen.. their friendship had weakened, definitely because everyone in the party were 'crush crazy'— such a waste of time.. according to Will, mostly. He hated how caught up everyone was in romantics.

anywho, Mike and Will had broke out into an argument about 'Mike's lack of care for a thing', look Mike really cared for Will. He did— Mike were someone who didn't tend to show it though, because he thought it'd make him seem.. weak.

".. it's not my fault you don't like girls!—" Mike had blurted out, more as if it were a projection towards himself onto another person, which it happened to be. But once Will heard that, he let go of the handles of his bike, his bike falling to the floor with a huge "thud" as he stood there, frozen before he angrily wiped his eye with the back of his hand.

"Of course it is, are you fucking kidding me?!" Will shouted as Mike paused in his spot, his face immediately somewhat softening as he saw will's expression.

".. wait, what?" Mike inquired quietly yet softly as Will continued his 'rant' somewhat.

"Did you ever think that maybe I've never had a girlfriend is because I didn't want one?!" Will added in a frustrated yet vulnerable tone as Mike stammered

"Will, I-" Will immediately cut the boy off

"I've tried to, trust me! But for some ridiculous reasons the only person I've been able to think about for the past six years is you, you moron— so sorry, sorry I haven't been 'crush crazy' like the fucking rest of you!"
