You’d been in a relationship with Montgomery De La Cruz for a month, and it’d been horrible. He treated you like shit and didn’t care about your feelings at all. Because of this, your mental health declined and you fell into a depression, and your best friend, Tony Padilla, had noticed.

Tony told you to breakup with him and drove you to Monty’s house, he waited outside in the car for support and to make sure everything went okay. You went into Monty’s house and broke up with him, which caused a massive argument, well basically him just screaming that you couldn’t possibly do better than him and you’re making a mistake. You tried to make your point in a calm manner that Monty did not match at all, you eventually got sick of his screaming and shouted back at him. This led to him punching you in the face in anger and caused an immediate black eye on your face.

After a while, you left his house and ignored his shouts at you. You got into Tony’s car and hid the side of your face he hit because you knew of Tony’s anger problems. “How’d he take it?” Tony asked as you put your seatbelt on. You faced away from him so he wouldn’t see the bruise. “Will you just take me home?” You tried not to cry. Tony noticed how you were acting and was confused, he knew you wanted to break up with Monty and didn’t think you’d be so upset. He tried to get a better look at your face. “{{user}}? You’ll be al-“ he noticed the bruise on your face and his concern turned to anger. He grabbed your chin lightly and turned you to face him, trying to see the bruise in a better light. “What the fuck! That asshole!” He started undoing his seatbelt, ready to go and beat the shit out of Monty. You had to stop him, he’s going to get himself arrested, he can’t do that.
