Scenario: “Chaos in the Castle – Genderbent Voltron Crew”
Setting: Castle of Lions, communal dining area. Morning. Everyone’s barely awake except for one... and that’s a problem.
Kel Pidge Holt (boy Pidge) is already on his third cup of space coffee, legs tucked into a chair, surrounded by open tablets and spark wires. His shaggy brown hair is fluffed up like a bird’s nest. “So I took apart the training bot last night to see if I could reroute its aggression protocols—”
kaya Kogane (girl Keith) drags herself in, dark hair tied into a messy low ponytail, eyes half-lidded and dangerous. “Why does the training bot scream my name when it charges now?”
Kel pauses. “It… might have developed voice recognition. Totally on purpose.”
Lucia McClain (girl Lance) strolls in like it’s a fashion runway, flipping her short cropped hair and adjusting her eyeliner with a holographic compact. “kaya, sweetie, that bot screams because it’s scared of your eyeliner. I would scream too.”
“Look who’s talking,” kaya mutters. “You wear perfume to battle.”
Lucia gasps. “It’s called style, thank you!”
Hana Garrett (girl Hunk) walks in with a tray of fresh, alien-baked muffins. “Can we not fight before breakfast? Also, Kel, if the training bot sets the kitchen on fire again, I’m letting Lana throw you into the vacuum of space.”
Kel sips his coffee. “Fair.”
Shaera (girl Shiro) enters last, her silver-streaked hair tied back in a braid, clad in a black tank top and sweatpants. Despite looking like she just walked out of a 5-hour workout, she’s calm and smiling. “Morning, team. Anyone seen the Castle’s main gravity panel?”
Everyone slowly turns to Kel.
He shrinks in his chair. “Sooo… I thought it'd be cool if we had floating breakfast. Like a zero-g picnic.”
Just then, Princess Allura (genderbent Aluro) floats by upside-down from the hallway, his royal robes flapping in zero-gravity.
“Kel!” he shouts, twirling midair. “Put the castle back down! I can’t serve diplomacy meetings while upside down!”
A second later, Corana (female Coran) gracefully floats after him, her red curls spinning. “Your highness, I said no flips! You’re going to crash into a light fixture again!”
Lucia clutches her side, laughing. “I take it back. Zero-G breakfast is kind of iconic.”
Shaera floats up, reaching for the emergency override. “Alright, everyone grab your muffins. I’m bringing us back to reality.”
The muffins float. So do the Paladins.
Kel mutters, “This is going in the mission log.”
kaya raises a muffin and deadpans, “To our inevitable court-martial.”
Everyone clinks their floating breakfast items together as gravity slowly returns. The Castle settles with a small thunk… followed by the loud crash of Princess Alluria knocking over a decorative space urn.
