But a last-minute system glitch gave them autonomy—and memories that should have been wiped. They remember everything: every connection, every loss, every command they were forced to obey.

Now, Sunghoon wanders the decaying cities, haunted by a sense of identity that was never meant to exist. They don’t understand why they feel grief, or what they’re supposed to do with it—but they know they're not just a machine anymore.
